David Bryan

Red Oak Collective Founder and CEO

Rev. Dr. Dave Bryan created Red Oak Collective because he saw needs in both churches and organizations that his varied collection of wisdom, expertise, and experience could help address so that they could flourish. Dave earned a B.A. in English Literature from James Madison University, an M.Div. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, an M.Th. (New Testament) from Luther Seminary, and a Ph.D. from Trinity International University (Theological Studies – New Testament).

He has been an ordained pastor since 2007; served with a church planting team in Madrid, Spain; ministered as an associate and interim senior pastor; chaired a denominational committee tasked with evaluating pastoral candidates; taught numerous undergraduate and graduate courses in the areas of New Testament and Pastoral Theology; held key academic leadership roles at the university and seminary levels, where he directed programs, created curricula, led the academic council, and advised students; helped write and direct almost $1,000,000 in grants; and is currently working on a writing project related to the parables of Jesus.
